Obama's Foreign Policy Sleight of Hand

I'm often infuriated by talk radio hosts who seem to completely miss the target on Obama's foreign policy.  So, let's pull back the curtain on this little dog and pony show that has become America's foreign policy.
The Bergdahl swap wasn't about Bergdahl at all.  It was about the president having the thinnest excuse possible to hand over to his new friends the five Gitmo detainees.  New friends?  You know, the guys he supported in the Arab Spring.  The Muslim Brotherhood thugs he armed in Egypt.  The Syrian rebels who were just another band of jihadists.  The thinnest excuse possible.
The Iranian Nuclear talks aren't about the nukes.  These talks are about removing the sanctions that have been placed on Iran.  I'm fed up with talk show host talking about the IAEA and how this is a path for Iran to have a bomb in 10 years.  Iran will get the bomb anyway because they refuse to comply with any agreement.  The only way to prevent Tehran from acquiring the bomb is to destroy their capacity for building such a device.

The talks are about an administration which claims the Islamic State has nothing to do with Islam accommodating the Iranian regime.  These two instances fit a pattern which includes the administration's support for the Arab Spring.  In case you haven't noticed the Arab Spring increased Iranian power in the region by reducing the influence of other nations in the region.  Egypt is still recovering, Libya is in total chaos, and Syria is under siege by Obama backed fighters.

The Obama administration is looking for the thinnest excuse he can give our allies to lift the sanctions on Iran.  That's it and that's all.

In The Noose: The Weekend Wrap Up

Wisconsin voter ID law survives Supreme Court challenge

Having allowed other such laws to stand the court simply refused to revisit the issue.  This is a troubling set back to Democrat's Voting Dead.

Ted Cruz from USA Today

Ted Cruz and Obamacare

Texas Senator Ted Cruz had just announced his formal entry into the 2016 presidential race when he came under fire for possibly signing up for Obamacare, a law he has publicly criticized.  The real irony is that following the law is mocked by liberals.  Or maybe that's not so ironic after all.

Bowe Bergdahl Formally Charged

The soldier accused of walking off his post will now face military justice.  Given the time that has passed since Bergdahl was returned to the US in a controversial deal made by the President, who failed to inform Congress, it would appear the Army has taken the time to put together an air-tight case.  Did I mention the President failed to keep Congress informed?

German Co-Pilot Commits Mass Murder

Information is coming out slowly in the Airbus crash that killed 150 people.  It is difficult for any of us to imagine someone so cold-blooded.  Such a senseless act is just hard to comprehend.  But in the end it appears the copilot was just such a POS and intentionally plunged the plane into the Alps.

Murder He Wrote

A Texas middle school student has stirred up a lot of trouble with a book he published online.  In his book he describes in graphic detail murdering and sexually assaulting his classmates and parents are up in arms that he has been allowed back in school.

The eighth grader's book, Killing Children, alarmed many parents who kept their children home when they learned he was in class again. As many as 170 students missed school last Monday because parents feared for the safety of their children.

The online book became a volatile issue because it graphically described the stabbings and sexual assaults of other students by name, including entries that described cutting off hair, stabbing tongues, using scissors to puncture jaws, and stabbing a boy so that “his insides spill out.” - Breitbart Texas
The police are looking into the matter while school officials say their hands are tied because the book was written when the boy wasn't in school or on school property. The student's father claims it's all a misunderstanding and that his son would never hurt anyone.

To the school officials in the North Texas ISD I'd like to suggest you have a drill team running around Tidwell Middle School with red flags and that your greater responsibility is the safety of the children in that school.  The parents of any child who writes a book detailing the slaughter and sexual assault of his classmates need to understand that in this day and age there will be repercussions.

It's common for mass murderers to post things to the internet before acting on their impulses.  I'm not saying this child will ever hurt anyone because I cannot know that but then neither can the school.  What I am saying is that the parents who are protesting and keeping their children out of school have every right to be concerned.  They are not the problem here.

Wonder Woman's Small Boobs

Despite her breast size becoming a topic of international discussion, the model confirmed she isn't embarrassed by the headlines.  -
This all looks like insanity to me.  She's too skinny and her breasts aren't big enough, really?  Wonder Woman is certainly a top property of the DC franchise but this scrutiny seems a bit over the top.
I'm sure the Dawn of Justice flick will do well at the box office but just how good a film it will be is anyone's guess.  But with Joss Whedon reportedly writing the Wonder Woman script there is hope.
But if you really, really, really think Gadot is too skinny and her boobs are too small there's always Cosplay.

Global Warming: No Tornadoes In March

No Tornado, Severe Thunderstorm Watches Yet in March Puts U.S. in 'Uncharted Territory'

If you believed all the stories of AGW creating more severe weather and it would only get worse then the story from The Weather Channel will having you scratching your head.  There have been no tornadoes or severe thunderstorms in the month of March and that has never happened since records have been kept.  As a Hollow Earth Denier I felt obligated to point this out.
This dearth in the usual spring weather will inevitably lead to a near orgasmic on air celebration at The Weather Channel when the first spring storms arrive.  Their glee will be short lived and in a couple of months you can start watching them as they pray for a hurricane, on the air.  Am I being too cynical?

In The Noose: Weekend Review

You may remember back in February State Department spokesperson Marie Harf said terrorists just needed jobs.  Maniacal laughter ensued.  Then last week it was announced that the burned out Quiktrip store in Ferguson Missouri would be rebuilt into a job training center.  Is anybody else thinking what I'm thinking?

Islamist terrorists stormed a museum in Tunisia killing tourists.  Which brings us back to a quote by the French speaking John Kerry I used in another post.

“Our citizens, our world today is, despite ISIL, despite the visible killings that you see and how horrific they are, we are actually living in a period of less daily threat to Americans and to people in the world than normally.” – Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday

McConnell Fires Up His Battle Against Obama's 'War on Coal'

"However, the administration has hit back at McConnell while warning that the effects of the alleged overheating of the planet due to greenhouse gas emissions could be disastrous for future generations." - NewsMax
Overheating of the planet, huh? I remember quoting another such claim.

"Flash back to Monday, March 20, 2000: “According to Dr. David Viner, a senior research scientist at the climatic research unit (CRU) of the University of East Anglia, within a few years winter snowfall will become a very rare and exciting event,” the UK’s Independent reported. “‘Children just aren’t going to know what snow is,’ he said.” - Duluth News Tribune

In The Noose:Spring Break Wrap Up

A 21 y.o. woman has fallen to her death from a seventh floor balcony on Padre Island.  It seems like we have to hear this story every year and it never gets easier.

Panama City Beach officers became concerned about a young girl whose picture appeared on social media.  The young woman was completely naked except for a large collection of Mardi Gras type beads around her neck.  Authorities publicly asked that the girl contact them so they could make sure that she wasn't victimized.  It is now being reported that she has contacted officials and that she is okay.
According to Guinness, the world's largest bikini parade occurred in August 2012 in ...

Hannity is sending a reporter to Panama City Beach again this year but may not be very welcome.  Local bar owners blame the show for new ordinances which force them to close at two instead of four.
A twenty y.o. Georgia man died earlier in the week in Panama City Beach.  The Warner Robbins man was reported missing by friends and later found in the deep end of pool.  Police think alcohol may have been a factor.

Agent Carter and The Avengers Too

Agent Carter is played by Hayley Atwell in both the short run series and in the MCU.  The series picks up in post WWII NYC where Carter is assigned with SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve) the forerunner of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Carter is working in a office full of sexist slobs while coming to grips with the loss of her one true love, Steve Rogers.  When Howard Stark, father of Ironman's Tony Stark, is declared an enemy of the state he seeks out Carter to help clear his name.  Stark puts his butler Jarvis at Peggy's disposal and to act as intermediary while he is on the run.
The show enjoys a 8.5 rating at IMDB and was a lot of fun to watch.  The costumes are excellent and there are guest appearances by actors who've played in the Marvel movies.  Add to that the movie tie ins and this was one fun series.
Stark's butler Jarvis is, of course, the inspiration for Tony Stark's AI J.A.R.V.I.S. but could he be more than that?  IMDB show Atwell as being in Avengers: Age of Ultron, certainly it's a flashback.  I'm guessing but here it is, Ultron create's the Android body for the Vision.  J.A.R.V.I.S. jumps in before Ultron can, then we learn that the J.A.R.V.I.S. AI is the consciousness of Jarvis complete with memories.  So perhaps Jarvis will relate to Rogers aka Captain America his exploits with Carter.  Hey, they brought Colson back to life!  It's not that big a leap when IMDB lists Paul Bettany as both Jarvis and The Vision.
Does Tony Stark have a half-sister in the Avengers?  If you've watched Agent Carter you know that it could be possible.  During the series run Carter and SSR encounter a woman from the black widow program with whom Stark spent an evening.  We may find out that she is the mother of Natasha Romanoff.

Will Carter be back for a second run?  I'd bet on it.

Obama's Predictable Failure: Israel

Obama's underhanded stab to unseat a foreign leader has failed.  The President of the United States of America sent operatives to Israel to spur support for the left wing candidates and they failed.  Liberals were looking to get a yes man in Israel and got a 'Hell No' from the Israeli people.  Predictable the media in this country is trying to turn the focus from Obama's failure and try to convince people here that Netanyahu's victory is a bad thing.

"Netanyahu's controversial stance appears to have paid off at home. Thought to be in danger of being voted out of office just a few days ago, the Likud emerged as the largest party in parliament when near-final results trickled in Wednesday, leaving it in position to lead the next coalition government. But the comments may have reinforced a belief in many world capitals that Netanyahu isn't serious about peace." - ABC News
As opposed to whom is serious about peace, Iran? The left wants a two state solution with East Jerusalem as the Palestinian capitol.  But Israel has given up land before that has been used to launch attacks upon Israeli citizens.  And who has been supplying the weapons for those attacks, Iran.  And it is with Iran that Obama wants to make a deal.

"Benjamin Netanyahu “mortgaged the future” to win his reelection, former White House adviser David Axelrod says, blasting the Israeli prime minister’s reversal on a two-state solution with respect to Palestine."
Read more:

Axelrod was on MSNBC, itself a failure. But I repeat myself.  The Middle East was more peaceful before Obama who apparently is chasing the apocalypse like his Iranian buddies.

In The Noose: Your Weekend Wrap Up

Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act

A law passed after Katrina to create a fund for Gulf states is in danger of being diverted by his majesty King Obama.  The revenue comes from companies operating oil platforms in the Gulf and is used in preventing beach erosion among other things.  Notably, the Feds already get most of the money.

Senate May Delay Vote on Lynch until Anti-Trafficking Bill is Done

This is certainly the item to keep an eye on in the coming week.  Democrats objection over abortion funding in the bill borders on ridiculous.

Clinton Email Story Leaked From White House

If true, this story from The New York Post could mark the public beginning of a war within the Democratic elite.

Protester charged with shooting officers in Ferguson

I was shocked but not surprised when I heard that two police officers were shot in Ferguson earlier this past week.  And immediately all the usual suspects began blaming an outside agitator.  The man being charged with the shootings has been seen at several of the protests  and as such is hardly an outside agitator.

In The Noose: Florida Round Up

Back in February a Florida deputy spotted Kayla Gregg passed out in her car with the engine running.  Gregg was only partially clad with a breast exposed and her skirt hiked up to her waist.  When the stripper opened her purse to get her ID the officer noticed that she had a lot of drugs.  Cocaine, Oxy, Morphine and a smoking pipe.  Later Kayla, 23, told the officer the drugs were for the back pain she suffered from as the result of being an adult dancer.

Well, don't do that!

Naked Woman Stops Traffic To Masturbate In Front Of A Car: Police

"A nude Florida woman who cops say was on "heavy" drugs Sunday night allegedly stopped traffic to masturbate in front of a couple's car, then climbed onto the hood." - HuffPo

Nude Florida woman, those words were meant to go together.  Amie Carter was eventually hauled away with her feet kicking in the air.   Once again I want to remind you that I have to check up on stories like this to make sure the ex hasn't stopped taking her meds.

Shakara Martin, Naked Florida Woman, Arrested After 'Scaring People' At Dunkin' Donuts

Scaring people away, I could see that.  Anyway, the naked woman, according to the Huffington Post, sits down at a table outside the West Palm store and starts chatting up a man who was already sitting there.  The police get called and so forth then they say she claimed she did this as part of a sorority pledge.  Martin is thirty-two.

The Party of Pimps, Prostitutes and Pedophiles

Senate Democrats this week may have derailed a billed which would crack down on Human Trafficking over language they deemed 'anti-abortion.'

"Fines paid by those convicted of the sex-trafficking crimes would go into a fund to help victims. But Democrats are balking because the legislation also contains a Republican-inserted provision that bars the use of fines to pay for abortions, except in cases of rape, incest or when the life of the pregnant woman is in jeopardy." - Fox News

I wasn't surprised by this.  The language was in the bill all along but it appears the Democrats played possum in order to get the bill scrubbed in the eleventh hour.  Democrats, you see, are a bit conflicted when it comes to sex trafficking.

All aboard the 'Lolita Express': Flight logs reveal the many trips Bill Clinton and Alan Dershowitz took on pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's private jet with anonymous women

Yeah, Bubba appears to have been a frequent visitor to Nookie Island where his billionaire buddy kept underage sex slaves.  Epstein was a big donor to Democrats across the country until he was finally convicted.  When Republicans began making political hay of the donations some Democrats began returning the pedophile's money.
When in April of last year allegations of pedophilia reached the doorstep of director Bryan Singer the public heard that the big gay Hollywood types were having pool parties involving underage boys.  Then, lo and behold, we find out that Hillary held a fund raiser at one of these parties and held a pep rally by the pool.

The Senate Anti-Trafficking bill does allow for some abortions to be paid for from the fines that are collected so the objection by Democrats seems a bit thin.  Why does a multi-billion dollar abortion industry need subsidies anyway?  It should be obvious that there's another reason Democrats are willing to defeat this bill.  It's about the money and their donors.

That trope about a Republican War on Women, bite me.

Tucson's Legal Battle With Homeless Camp

Tucson's trendy downtown area is now home to a growing homeless encampment according to several sources including The Boston Globe.

"City officials point to the human and dog excrement left behind on city sidewalks. They say the wooden pods restrict walking space." - The Boston Globe

You can't really have a story about a homeless camp without excrement can you?  The homeless have set up camp on a one acre city park and are accusing city leaders of unfairly criminalizing them.

Is there any doubt in anyone's mind that if a Republican were in the White House Wolfe Blitzer would be all over this story with Anderson Cooper reporting live?  But with King Obama in office and a thriving economy it's, move along folks nothing to see here.
This started off in 2011 as the Occupy camp according to Reuters and apparently camp leader Jon McLane has been living there ever since.  McLane and his flock call their enterprise a protest camp to give it pseudo-legitimacy in the courts and now there are about 80 people sleeping in the park in coffin-like boxes, called Dreaming Pods, as well as in sleeping bags which line city sidewalks.

Everyone has rights including the citizens of Tucson.  A small city park where office workers might take lunch outdoors, gone.  And what do these people do when not sleeping in the park?  Do citizens who work and contribute to the building of a community have no right to safety and decorum?

Police raided the camp this past week and arrested McLane, a former Iraq war veteran, and five others on drug charges after undercover officers made purchases in the camp.  Perhaps McLane, who was popped for weed, should move his protest to Colorado.

Yep, it's all fun and games until someone's 14 year-old daughter is kidnapped and ritualistically raped for nine months, then it's a failure of the government and courts to protect the law abiding citizens.

Camp leader, really Jon?

Call Out The Guards: Global Warming Deniers!

Before you read another word it is only fair that I tell you, I am a Hollow Earth Denier.  Good, now we may proceed with the business at hand.

This wonderful story from the Duluth News Tribune was a great excuse for a Rule 5 entry at The Other McCain.  Not to mention we get to poke fun at the leftwing climate loonies.  The poor children just won't know what snow is, really?

"Recent headlines seem to differ, including “Coldest temps since late 1800s in East,” “Life-threatening freeze hits South,” and, “Chicago smashes record.”" - Duluth News Tribune

The Duluth News Tribune should take some care in their Global Warming dissent.  Just recently a Colorado University professor was the target of a democratic congressman who called for an investigation into the prof's funding.  There can be no debate!
Enjoy it while you can gals you may never see the snow again.  Maybe.

In The Noose: A Weekend Wrap Up

EPA pit bull Gina McCarthy, whose hard drives also fail from time to time, went before Congress for increased funding and got a good spanking for her effort.
Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions took McCarthy to task for pursuing regulations not supported by sound science.  McCarthy was unable to answer the most basic questions about climate change to justify her agency's agenda.  What used to be considered healthy skepticism was immediately attacked by the lunatic left Kool-Aid drinkers.

"The cringe-inducing questioning by Sessions amounted to a series of “gotchas” aimed at an EPA administrator who not only isn’t a scientist but who obviously wasn’t going to prepare for a budget hearing by memorizing responses to all possible climate contrarian arguments. " - Puneet Kollipara @ WaPo

According to her Wiki McCarthy has a BA in Social Anthropology and a joint Master of Science in Health Engineering, Planning and Policy. Gina has worked in the Environmental field for decades and every time she goes before Congress the one thing she lacks is credible science.  It's those rascally hard drives Puneet!

Kentucky's Mitch McConnell further frustrated the insane climate change crowd by advising states to ignore the Administration's carbon regulations on power plants.

The incredible lack of transparency continues at every turn.
There's not a lot I can add to the Clinton email crimes except to once again point out the lack of transparency and the contempt the Left has for we the people.  But to hear the left wing manure spreader, David Brock, tell it no rules were broken.  He's apparently the go to guy for CNN when the indefensible must be defended.
If somehow you missed the Clinton email story it's just more of the same lack of accountability.  As Sec. State Clinton used a private server for her emails, a tactic to avoid Freedom of Information requests and inquiries by Congress.  Not only was this apparently a breach of protocol but it may also have been a crime.  It's highly unlikely Hillary would be prosecuted when the left-wing media is all too willing to climb into the sewer with her and brand anyone brave enough to question her honesty as mean.  So the beat goes on; no transparency and no accountability.

The Hypocrisy over Netanyahu's Speech

The first notable thing is an organized Democratic response which bordered on hysteria.  Powerlineblog has a nice compendium of leftwing rants.  Why would Democrats freak out over a speech to Congress by the Israeli Prime Minister?

Obama-tied operatives hit anti-Netanyahu campaign trail in Israel

Democrats want a Yes Man in Israel and the underhanded, double dealing, sneaky bastards cannot stoop low enough to get what they want.  Hasn't this administration mucked around enough in the Middle East?  And all the boo hooing over undermining the president's foreign policy should fall on deaf ears.  In reading about this at The Other McCain he reminded me via Hot Air that in 2007, when Bush was getting tough with Syria's Assad, Pelosi rounded up a few lefty buddies and flew over to comfort the same dictator that Obama now seeks to oust.
Is it any big surprise that the former speaker acted so rudely while the Prime Minister spoke?  Isn't all this hokum about protocol just a little much when democRATS fly out to meet our nation's enemies?  I ask you, who more overtly insulted the sitting President?

The Vandals Are Coming: ISIS

"Renaissance and Early Modern writers characterized the Vandals as barbarians, "sacking and looting" Rome." - Wikipedia

News Week has an interesting story on the recent threats by ISIS aimed at Rome.  The threats and growing concerns are a direct result of King Obama's foolish Arab Spring which toppled Libya's Muammar el-Qaddafi.

"Since the fall of Muammar el-Qaddafi in 2011, Libya has descended into chaos, giving rise to warring militias, some of whom are loyal to ISIS." - News Week

From different sources across the internet and the Islamic State's own magazine threats against Rome and Italy are being issued.  And while the Italian people seem unconcerned the government is just beginning to realize how vulnerable they really are.

“If ISIS can successfully intermingle with those fleeing the Libyan coast en route for Europe,” al-Libi added, “this could turn life in southern European states into hell.” - Pro-ISIS Blogger

Will Nero fiddle as Rome burns?  Who knows?  How many predicted what would happen in Iraq if U.S. troops were removed?  During the George W Bush Presidency the media often fumed and snarled as they repeatedly asked him if one thing or another had been a mistake.  Now, despite the most obvious of mistakes and miscalculations the MSM continues to carry the water for Obama.  Is the American public being lulled into a false sense of security?

“Our citizens, our world today is, despite ISIL, despite the visible killings that you see and how horrific they are, we are actually living in a period of less daily threat to Americans and to people in the world than normally.” – Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday

“Preliminary data for the first 9 months of 2014 reflects nearly 13,000 attacks which killed 31,000 people. When the final accounting is done 2014 will have been the most lethal year for global terrorism in the 45 years such data has been compiled.” - Director of National Intelligence James Clapper on Thursday

The previous two quotes come from Judge Jeanine Pirro at Fox News.  Pirro is correctly pointing out the contradictory messages the American public is getting.  We've heard that terrorists need jobs and from Obama himself, global warming is a greater threat to Americans than terrorism.  Is this sound bite propaganda or a signal of where the one's priorities are?  Without question Obama is the most deceptive man to hold the office since FDR.

"Obama bizarrely claimed that ISIS is on the defensive, but it soon reached the periphery of Ain al-Asad air base in Anbar Province which houses about 320 marines. And they certainly weren’t on the defensive when they captured the western Iraqi town of al-Baghdadi." - American Thinker

That piece, Lies, Damn Lies and Obama Lies by Noel S Williams is both spot on and an excellent read.  While the focus is the administration's dishonesty which is apparent in almost every aspect of its governance the media's complicity shouldn't be ignored by the public.  We're being treated like sheep and the sheep dog is playing golf!

Islamophobia is Responsible for Radicalization

"The teacher, Adil Charkaoui, told a news conference in Montreal that anti-Muslim sentiment in Quebec is to blame for alienating Muslim students, not his classes, where he said only Arabic, the Koran and "basic notions" are taught."

That quote is from a News Week story just a couple of days ago.  Charkaoui is a Moroccan born immigrant living in Canada and as you may gather from the story the bullshit is strong with this one.

""I'm stunned by the twisted logic of the spokespersons of the two (colleges) and the pseudo-experts that are blaming radicalization of young people for what has happened," he added, noting that his school does not support Islamic State." - from News Week

Twisted logic, please enlighten me.  And, of course, what has happened is that a bunch of young Canadians have escaped the oppression in Canada to join ISIS.  It's all our fault.  Everything is always our fault.  The European west is bad and oppressive and just why the hell did these people come here?
Adil Charkaoui from News Week
If Obama had a son, but I digress.  Let me point out that it now appears that we have a bunch of folks showing up on our shores with a list of demands.  Charkaoui is struggling against Islamophobia.  Our western societies are depriving these people of their rights.  Religious Freedom!  Can we pray in our schools?  Have a nativity on the public square?  Charkaoui goes on to accuse the good people of Quebec of the worst crime imaginable, copying France!

European Human Rights Court Upholds France's Burqa Ban

In 1951 the state of Georgia passed anti-mask legislation.  The goal was to curb the anonymous domestic terror of the Klu Klux Klan.  While the muslims would certainly claim that burqas are a part of their religion, in my mind public safety trumps any such claim.

Boko Haram terrorists caught after disguising themselves as women... but not shaving their beards off

Adil Charkaoui's claim that islamophobia is creating radicalized youths in western countries reminds me of Tim Burton's Batman when the Joker tells Batman, 'you created me.'  A statement intended to confuse Batman's ethics.  But the Joker had murdered Wayne's parents in front of him, no less, and so it was in fact the Joker who had created Batman.
Peace loving people should feel no guilt over those steps which are necessary to maintain the peace.  Nor should the peaceful allow themselves to be conflicted by the words of those who regard anyone not of their faith as infidels.  It is their faith which compels them to lie to us.  While they claim to be oppressed in our countries observe how people of other faiths are treated in theirs.  These people have no right to come to our countries and impose upon us their draconian customs.  Worship as you wish in your home and your mosques but you should not have come here if you are unwilling to abide by our laws.
